There were "Free Tibet" protesters throughout the route. We watched on TV as people were jumping out in front of the runners... and even a few people doing such things as trying to grab the torch and trying to put out the flame with a fire extinguisher.
It even came just past my flat by boat on the River Thames, so Steph and I stood outside on the top floor balcony and watched it as it passed by.
The flame is on the boat that is grey on the bottom and orange on the top.
This is the closest it got to our house...
... but we still weren't close enough to actually see the flame :(
And, then it was off around the peninsula to the ending point in North Greenwich... the o2 Dome.
