Free Concert- Youssou N'dour
One of the most famous concert venues in London, the o2 dome, is located in the borough that I live and work in. Since I'm a Greenwich Employee, from time to time we are offered free or reduced tickets to shows (anyone need half price tickets to the Eagles concert next week?). Anyway, today on offer was free tickets to see Youssou N'Dour, a famous singer from Senegal. Since Steph studied for a few months in Senegal, she knew who he was, and rallied a few of us together to go and see him.
It was a very good show, and I think that it was a truly African experience (I say that because I couldn't understand what was being said or sang).
